Johnny Chan

Johnny Chan is one of the best poker players of all time. He won the World Series of Poker two years in a row, 1987 and 1988, and play heads-up for the title in 1989, but lost to Phil Hellmuth. His second victory is a true poker classic. Holding the nut straight he tricked Erik Seidel into moving in with a pair of queens. This moment has been immortalized in the movie Rounders. Chan is known for keeping an orange in front of him during tournaments. Some think its for luck, but Chan claims that he enjoys the smell and that it combats the smell of cigarette smoke that is common at many tournaments.
